9, 3 and 6
1. Arrival
I arrived in a small, dark room. I could just make out a descriptive book on a table in front of me. It was very old and didn't appear to be working.
On my left-hand side was a window. I looked outside. It was fairly dull, but I could just make out a lake with an orange tinge...! I was on an island in D'ni. How on earth... did I end up here?
On the wall I was first facing, I could just make out three symbols on a large nara door on the wall. Upon further investigation, I found they were the D'ni numbers 9, 3 and 6. I copied them into my journal:

There were also three letters inscribed on the large nara door on the wall. I copied them into my journal as well:

I can't read D'ni, so I couldn't decipher what it meant.
Turning to the numbers, I noticed that they looked suspiciously like buttons, so I tried pressing them in numerical order: 3, 6, 9, or middle, right, left.
Suddenly, the large nara door opened up, revealing a room with six linking books! I'd found a book room!
Fortunately, there was a lantern above to light my view. The six
books were different colours, so I started out by drawing this table in
my journal (I always carry a journal around with me):

Since I had nothing to lose (there was no way I could get out the window), I opened the blue/purple book to the final page. I saw a strange, spherical building on a rock, and a larger island on the horizon. This was all located in a beautiful blue sea and under a beautiful blue sky. I took a deep breath, gulped, and placed my palm on the image.
