Further Information
Where can I download Mylk?
Worldvillage has both the Mac and Windows versions available for download.
Are there any differences between the Mac and the Windows versions? The Windows version has green grass, not red earth!
The short answer is, yes. The long answer is that the original red earth in the Mac version was changed to green grass in the Windows version. Since the Mac version is the original, I'm going from it. There are also a number of other slight differences that didn't affect my journal.
Can I create a link to your contents page?
Certainly.
Erm, didn't you make some of this up?
Some things were made up by me, in order to make Mylk fit in with the 'official' story of Myst and Riven. This is difficult to do. I know... My attempts are laughable.
Um, where can I find journals like this on Myst and Riven?
Head off to The Myst Journals/Riven Expedition Web Site. Here you'll find two excellent journal-style walkthroughs of Myst and Riven. These are, by far, the best I have ever read.
Can you give me some related contacts?
Sure.

Er, are there any other cool M/R/D spinoffs out there?
Yes. See my Mystical Shells page for more info on The D'ni Legacy and Pyst.
What gives you the inspiration for this kind of thing?
I just combined two things I enjoy... writing and Myst.
Hey, how accurate are your translations of Farmer Ben and Francis the Chicken (esp. in the Epilogue)?
Not terribly. I just made the best of a bad situation. For instance, Francis the Chicken always says the same thing, whichever way you are looking at her through the pink Carton. I just figured out that she wouldn't say, "Bring me the pink pages! Do not bring the yellow pages!", when you had freed her.
Farmer Ben has a terrible American country (correct me if I'm wrong) accent, not to mention some interesting grammar (or lack of it) and vocabulary. I've done the best I can.
In The Barn chapter, I believe I have correctly heard Ben, but then again, I might be wrong.
Does Mylk have a sequel?
Sorry, no. We can only assume Torus and Elsie have had no further problems. But don't despair... Check out my Mystical Shells page for more spinoffs!
