5. The Milker
There was plenty more to see... The milker! This amazing contraption consists of a box with four pulsating tubes designed to milk cows. The milk is then sent to a milk bottle through four tubes.
But that's not all there is to this milker. On the front, there is a little window. Inside, I can see several pages. On the side of the milker are three buttons, one of a pitchfork, one of a water droplet, and one of a salt shaker. When I press the buttons, the values 0.75, 0.25 and 0.50 are respectively displayed on the front of the milker. I record these discoveries in my journal.
My guess is that if I press the buttons in the right sequence, maybe, just maybe, I will be able to access the pages. Torus mentioned something about expiration dates on the milker. What if...
I made my way to the haystack, to examine the White Carton. Upon further investigation, I discovered that there were controls on the Carton which changed a fraction displayed on the Carton up or down. Since the only numeral that could be modified was the denominator of the fraction, and because the numerator was 6, as well as the fact that the pitchfork was in the haystack, I reasoned that the pitchfork value of 0.75 was the value to go for. I entered 6/8 into the Carton, and... the front of the Carton turned into a linking panel, showing a Sharp Island in a sea of mild salsa! I linked.
