6. The Sharp Age

Upon arrival, I was confronted with two objects, I piece of paper on the ground, and a strange looking yogurt stand.  I started by examining the paper.  I found that it was a Berlitz Chicken/English dictionary!  I copied both sides of the dictionary into my journal:

really gota have corn.

I remembered what Francis the chicken had said to me...  "Bawk Bawbaawk".  This means, "Bring me the pink pages.  Do not bring the yellow pages".  It seems that Francis and Ben aren't in agreement with each other.

Most of these translations make sense, but the scribble, and Bock, "Fruit on-the bottom"?

I turned my attention to the stand.  On closer inspection, I found it to be a yogurt stand.  There was a button on the leg of the stand, with a strawberry, blueberry and orange on the front, from top to bottom, respectively.  On top of the stand were three yogurt containers and a spoon.  I used the spoon to fiddle around the yogurt and, suddenly, everything became clear!

The reference to "Fruit on-the bottom" and the scribble are both clues to a code.  CO2 means "one cherry and two oranges".  The scribbled diagram shows the yogurt containers, as a clue, and the reference to "Fruit on-the bottom" is simply a reference to oranges.  The "Rey" scribble must mean something like "Rear end yogurt".

I scooped a cherry from within the front yogurt container and brought it to the top.  I brought the orange pieces from each of the rear containers, and pressed the fruit button.

The yogurts went slimy green, and a hologram rose up before me.  It was of a torn piece of paper, torn on the right-hand side, with a code:  Pitchfork, Water Droplet, Pitchfork.  Perhaps this could be the right portion of the vault combination!  I quickly wrote the data down.

I turned around to see a linking panel in the ground back to Mylk, so I immediately linked.
